Poured darker than cola but not black, and the manilla colored head was short and brief. Curious.
The aroma was mild, almost unnaturally so, but maybe my nose was on the fritz.
The taste was good, caramel like malts and some bitterness, due to the roasted malts or hops I couldn’t tell. It had an almost metallic feel to the flavor, I spent the drink trying to figure out what it was.
The feel was good, I had no issues with it at all.
OA, glad to have tried this, I prefer others from Transient so likely won’t revisit it.

Smells like cocoa pebbles and slight soy sauce. Taste is lots of dark and smoked malts, crispy like cocoa crispys, as a lager should be, just soft enough, tiny bit of grassy hops, mostly smoked dark malt... soy sauce and bottom of the ash tray

Dark brown in color with little light penetration. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering nearly all of the top. Light lacing. There’s a lot of caramel, chestnut, and some dark chocolate in the nose. I taste lots of caramel and baker’s chocolate. The mouth is light and approachable.
