This one is a Helles Lager aged in oak. It is light bodied but that was to be expected for a 4% beer. It does have a bit of a hoppy taste to it. There was also a touch of sweetness to it and some honey. Nice beer

Thanks to Joplamp for this one from the recent Can-cans BIF. 16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear (just a touch of chill haze) light gold color with over an inch of white head that decent retention and no lacing.
The aroma featured the expected solid grains and floral hops of the style, but there was a nicely sharp wood scent as well.
The wood was even more notable on the tongue. It really brought out the base aspects of the beer very nicely.
The body was light, crisp, smooth, and had a finish that was slightly tart and dry.
Drinkability was very good, I'd be able to drain these easily, all day, or all weekend.
Overall, a very good beer. Wish it were locally available to me. A must try if you see it.

A - Pours a lightly hazed gold with a two finger fizzy white head.
S - Aroma is oak, lager yeast and some light barnyard funk.
T - The taste is lemon, green apple, toasted biscuit, oak and some light bitterness in the finish.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Soft mouthfeel with a crisp dry finish.
O - This a really solid oaked lager. Clean lager taste mixer with a nice barnyard/oaky element.
