A - Pours pitch black with a thin tan head. Light soapy lacing.
S - Aroma is big vanilla, maple, milk chocolate and a big bourbon nose.
T - The taste is milk chocolate, vanilla, light maple, oak and a huge bourbon kick in the finish.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a crisp dry finish.
O - Really tasty, but the bourbon is a little to dominate in the finish.

Appearance - The beer poured a deep black color with a dark mocha colored head.
Smell - The heat of the barrel came through in the nose. Vanilla was also evident.
Taste - The beer was a big boozy vanilla stout. The rye barrel was a bit hot, but the marshmallowy vanilla took the edge off. It was like a whiskey soaked kids breakfast cereal. There was a sweet burn in the finish. This only has an 11% abv?
Mouthfeel - Even for a milk stout, it seemed a bit thin.
Overall - I wanted to like this more, but it was a bit hot for me.

Pours onyx black with a sudsy dark tan head that dissipates in seconds. The nose has a strong maple note and a strong bourbon note as well.
The maple is forward on the taste, and there’s a strong milk chocolate flavor as well that tails off into the bourbon flavor which features delicious oak notes. Wow, is this a flavorful joyride.
The mouthfeel is full and a bit creamy, as expected from an imperial cream stout. This beer is yet another example of Transient’s world class “big boy stout” game.
