A - Pours black with a thin tan head. Very minimal soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is marshmallow, graham cracker and milk chocolate.

T - The taste follows the aroma with big milk chocolate, marshmallow, graham crackers and vanilla.

M - Full body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a sticky dry finish.

O- Really solid pastry stout. The flavors are on the sweeter side, but not cloying.

thank you Ovaltine, 16oz can pour into a surly glass (no can date)
L: black is black and thick, 1.5 finger tan head (nice medium bubbles) head fades quickly with little to no lacing
S: upfront is graham cracker, clear as day with some sticky sweetness
T: just like the nose and graham cracker is at the front of the line, with some backend sticky tongue sweetness

O: it is pasty stout and the best example of graham cracker I have .. My only wish it was super syrup, here if there was some stronger chocolate /roast to balance it out it would be out this world

Served from the can in a Mickey Finn's shaker pint glass.

Part of me wishes it was "Martian", but, hey, whaty're ya gonna do, right? Anyway, this stuff pours a straight obsidian topped by a finger of sandstone foam. The nose comprises chocolate syrup, vanilla, light roasted malts, and a hint of allspice in the background. The taste brings in more of the same, the allspice now a honey character. Definitely pretty s'mores-y. The body is a hefty medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a very tasty sweet stout, one that certainly delivers on the s'more goodness without that feeling of Beetus.

Let’s be very clear up front - this is a sweet dessert stout. If you don’t like sweet/dessert stouts, avoid this beer at all costs. Now that we have THAT out of the way .....

Pour is black with some mahogany hues on the edges and a gorgeous creamy tan head as a cap. The nose is rich milk chocolate, a sweet vanilla note I’m guessing is the marshmallow, and the graham cracker.

The taste features the rich milk chocolate, and the milk chocolate ..... and the milk chocolate. Wow, the milk chocolate is with this imperial stout. The marshmallow is also a significant presence, and the graham cracker is present and accounted for at the end of the taste.

The mouthfeel is rich and creamy, worthy of this big stout. Stated simply, this is a s’more for beer nerds - the closest I’ve found to a s’more in the dessert beer craze that’s hit our neck of the nape the past few years.
