This Pilsner is modeled after the dry-hopped Italian Pilsners we love so dearly, and could not be happier with how it turned out. Light and crisp, as a Pilsner should, with a touch of magic from our friends down the street at Hop Head Farms. This beer is so very much summer, you don’t even know it... yet.

Appearance - The beer was golden yellow with visible carbonation and a big white head.
Smell - Earthy hops gave a bitter, slightly floral aroma.
Taste - The hop profile produced a green bitterness, almost like fresh cut grass. The hop bitterness was almost piney. The finish was biscuity and dry.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation was aggressive in support of the dry profile.
Overall - I must like Italian pilsners.

Pours a nice golden straw color with quite a bit of unfiltered haze for a pilsner and a creamy white head that provides significant lacing. The nose is led by a bright lemon aroma and followed by fresh cut grass and white bread notes.
The lemon is also forward on the taste and quite delicious, especially with the accompaniment of the grass and white bread flavors. Very well balanced and flavorful.
The mouthfeel is bitingly crisp, on point for the style, and providing an exceedingly crushable drinking experience. If this is available in the summer, it will definitely be in my beer fridge.

A - Pours a clear gold with a two finger creamy white head. The head recedes into a thin ring leaving a heavy amount of soapy lacing.
S - Aroma is white bread, fresh cut grass and piney hops.
T - The taste is candied lemon, toasted white bread, sweet malts and piney hops.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft crisp finish.
O - Really dig this. Nice balance of earthiness and sweetness. Perfect for a warm summer day.

Pours a straw gold. Smell is lemon and bread, some grass is detectable. Taste follows suit. First the malty/bread then tart lemon and citrus with bitter hop on the backend. May be some honey flavor there as well. Feel crisp and smooth. Would enjoy again

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Back in the old country (how do you represent a trilling r in text?), we didn't even know what Italian pilsners were. Still barely do. Anyway, this one pours a clear amber-brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises pine needles, white bread, light lemon peel, and some grass. The taste brings in more of the same, the bread (verging on cracker) and new-coming mineral water providing a core for the earthy, grassy hops to swirl and envelope. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, a nice Italian pils, and although it's not quite my favorite flavor profile, it's eminently drinkable.
