500 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 6/24/22.

Pours near black and opaque, with a flash of a head and no lacing. Aromas of bourbon, coffee, vanilla, oak, maple- more as it warms, light tobacco and char. Similar flavors- bourbon, vanilla, coffee, malt, light maple and oak. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.

Very enjoyable. The vanilla and coffee shine, and there’s a good bourbon barrel presence. Best fully warmed.

A - Pours pitch black with a fizzy tan head. Slick oily lacing.

S - Aroma is maple, dark chocolate and bourbon barrel.

T - The taste is maple, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, oak and a nice bourbon punch in the finish.

M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Syrupy mouthfeel with a slick dry finish.

O - Very well done. The maple isn’t cloying and doesn’t mask the base beer.

Jet black pour with an oatmeal brown head. Aromas of big maple and coffee, barrel boosted caramel, chocolate and vanillins soaked oak. Strong oak and maple, caramel, and bourbon up front, draws out the chocolate and vanilla from the base stout quite a bit through the sip, coffee cuts in well. Feel is warm and lighter, sweetness builds but never cloys, very smooth with coffee percolating the body as a change up here and there.
