This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This is very chocolatey on the nose, with some light vague spicing, and some bourbon.
This is supposed to evoke like gingerbread cookies or something like that, but it doesn’t quite nail that in my eyes. I don’t get much in the way of graham cracker or gingerbread, maybe some light spicing, but it’s not super evocative or anything. It’s just chocolatey, and slightly barrel forward.
This is medium bodied, slightly boozy but not aggressively so, with a decent enough drinkability.
This didn’t quite accomplish what it wanted to, but I still enjoyed it.
