Depending on the light, the pour looks brown or a reddish mahogany; clear; thick, khaki hued head with good retention, dense, thick and creamy. Fine malty aroma; a touch of mocha and cocoa. Excellent dark, sweet malt flavor; light brown sugar with chocolate tones; mild to nearly moderate hop bitterness presence. Slick, heavy mouthfeel; smooth and glassy on the palate.

A rich, flavorful dark lager (pilsner) that satisfies the palate and the soul.

Pouring temperature: 45 °F; canning info: n/a

Dark brown to light black in color. There’s a quarter inch of khaki brown on top. Light soapy lacing. The aroma is of lightly sweet fresh dark bread. I’m tasting that dark malty bready flavor that’s very enticing. The mouth is smooth and refreshing.

Rating as a dark lager, not as a dark Pilsner, even though that's what the can states.
Pours a black coffee color and sports a light brown head of 2 fingers in height. I've seen lighter porters; this is definitely dark.
The aroma is lost on my Covid affected nose. Sigh.
The taste is full of toasted bread, coffee, and dark fruits to add a touch of sweetness. There are no Noble hops or any hops bitterness at all to the taste, this is malty and smooth. It would be an excellent cool weather beer.
The feel has a little body to it, not crisp or effervescent like a normal pilsner (another reason not rating it as one) I think it matches with the flavor very well.
Definitely will be revisiting this one.

Pours a dark cola brown and settles black in the glass with a dense tan head that provides moderate lacing. Beautiful beer. The nose is all about the roasty malts, with some coffee and caramel notes and some grassy noble hop aromas for good measure.

The taste is a nice balance between the grassy noble hop flavors and the roasty coffee and creamy caramel notes. This is the perfect campfire beer, IMHO.

The mouthfeel is medium and crisp, adding to the drinkability. Transient nailed this, IMHO.

No canning date

Poured at fridge temp into a nonic glass

Pours a deep cola brown with a fairly dense tan head. Let it sit for a while accidentally and it settled into a nice ring and thin cap. 4

Gentle roasty and toasty coffee nose, some malt sweetness and dark breadiness. 4

Really reminds me of a darker and more savory julmust (Christmas soda) Dark malts, some roastiness, accompanied by dark bread. Totally love it! 4.25

Body is fairly light drinking but more filling as it sits. Carbo is balanced and not too sharp. 3.75

Overall a lovely representation of the style and one I'd absolutely return to. 4
