8 ball black with a thin tan head.

Brownie crust, bourbon, semi-sticky but drinkable.

Solidly warming exhale after a lightly sweet finish, it's not as crazy in execution as it sounds.

This beer pours black and is topped with a thin, dark brown head that leaves virtually no lacing.

Caramel, dark chocolate, and vanilla aromas. Hints of anise.

Dark chocolate flavor with caramel and vanilla. Nice bourbon finish.

Full bodied with a slick, viscous mouthfeel

Really smooth and the flavors melded nicely.

Pours black and settles black in the glass with a mocha colored head that dissipates quickly. Looks beautiful in the glass.

The nose has barrel notes right out of the bottle and loads of chocolate, vanilla, and cookie sweetness, with a little maple for good measure.

The barrel is at the back of the palate on the taste, and that works really well because it allows the milk chocolate, vanilla, and sweetness from the cookies to shine.

This is unabashedly a dessert beer, and it checks those boxes very well, especially with the rich, creamy mouthfeel. Another excellent stout from Transient.
