The pour is dark, very dark and almost zero carbonation. No head or lacing.
The taste leads with maple syrup and vanilla. Coffee makes an attempt to be relevant but fails. The whisky makes a fly by showing and the base stout strives to hold its own.
The feel is properly viscous, quite appropriate for this beer.
OA, this is far sweeter than I hoped for. I expected better from Transient.

Yet another amazing barrel aged stout from Transient. Strong maple and vanilla scents and flavors, coffee, barrel, and roasted malt notes. Big bodied. Strong booze presence, A bit too astringent and thick for me.
