A - Pours pitch black with a very thin tan head. Light amount of spotty lacing.
S - Aroma is dark chocolate, coconut and caramel.
T - The taste is dark chocolate, caramel, black coffee, coconut, vanilla, roasted malts, oak and a nice alcohol warmth in the finish.
M - Full body with medium carbonation. Syrupy mouthfeel with a slick tingly finish.
O - Solid.

Appearance - The beer was deep black with a dark tan head.
Smell - There were notes of sweet dark chocolate in the nose with barrel notes.
Mouthfeel - Chocolate was strong in the nose with char notes than could have been cookie. I detected pineapple instead of coconut. Did the lactose in this bottle start to turn? It wasn’t undrinkable, it just wasn’t a Samoan.
Mouthfeel - The body was thick, coating the tongue and back of the throat.
Overall - A rare miss from Transient.

Mouthfeel - Chocolate was strong in the nose with char notes than could have been cookie. I detected pineapple instead of coconut. Did the lactose in this bottle start to turn? It wasn’t undrinkable, it just wasn’t a Samoan.
Mouthfeel - The body was thick, coating the tongue and back of the throat.
Overall - A rare miss from Transient.
