Half pint from the cask at The Mad Bishop and Bear in Paddington Station. Made from a 1928 Barclay Perkins recipe.
Pours a deliciously cloudy dark brown/amber colour, with a good white head. It's a delicious beer, firm bready and chocolatey malts and perfectly laid-back carbonation with some fruity hops to give it bite. A gorgeous taste of the past.
