Small place in old warehouse building with long standing bar opposite entry and more than a half dozen table about the room, as well as, outdoor picnic tables.

I decided to take a beer crawl in Riverhead, NY with my crew on a rainy Saturday. Riverhead is at the juncture of the two forks of Long Island and has at least four breweries with serving areas (Crooked Ladder, Moustache, North Fork, and Long Ireland) with a fifth (Long Beard) under construction. Crooked Ladder, Moustache, and North Fork are all within a short walk of one another, so after spending some time at Crooked Ladder, my party headed over to Moustache.
Located on a cul de sac on Hallett Ave, Moustache has a small, quirky, fun little service area. The servers couldn't have been lovelier, walking us through the offerings and giving us time to make up our minds. With twelve taps, including a guest tap for the local Jamesport Farm Brewery cider, the range and depth of offerings with excellent for a facility of this size. Space in limited, but we did not feel cramped.
We chatted with a couple who had brought their (incredibly well behaved) bulldog, spent a good hour sampling the brews, and just generally had a grand old time. As we were leaving, a Bachelorette party arrived, no doubt taking advantage of the "Brew Crew" 12 seat pedicab available locally for just such purposes. The beers were generally very good, the ambience great, and the staff excellent. Prepackaged bottled and canned beers are available. Just the right way to spend and rainy day.

Very small brewery with picnic bench seating outside in the warm weather, otherwise just a couple of barrels to use. Extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Their IPA's that I have tried have been good, however their other styles of beer are not quite as good. Decent selection on tap and to go the times I have visited.

Small space that opens up in the summer to outdoor seating. The brewery operation is tiny (Blichman homebrew equipment for a 2 barrel setup) and open for all to look around at. The owners are a lovely young couple who run the whole show and are happy to talk shop with customers.
They do monthly IPAs that are fresh and well-balanced. The non-IPAs are also enjoyable, though not as stand out. If you're in the area I highly recommend a quick visit.

A nice local spot for long islanders. This place is prolly pumping out some of the better craft beer on long island along with long Ireland brewery in riverhead aswell. Definitely check them out and take the brew crew cycle!
