L- Pale gold, slightly cloudy, pours with 3mm white head.
S- A mild fruit nose on it, unclear, perhaps apple?
T- Notably hoppy-dry, though it's far from the face-twister that some NEIPAs can be. Again the hoppy-dryness comes through with a mild fruit note, but subtle enough I cannot specifically pin it down.
F- It is notably hoppy-dry as you'd expect from an IPA. To me it's more aligned with older-school IPAs than the hipster style, in that although it has a subtle fruit note, unlike the latter it doesn't have you noting the whole fruit bowl, lycheee, Mandarin etc etc.
O- In conclusion it's a Pale Ale, just with some contemporary facets, but overall should appeal to a broad age range. It's not OTT in any aspect, though hoppier than my regular brews. It's still notably hoppy though so this is a beer that would work better for me to slake my thirst on a hot summer's day.
328ml bottle Bought from Bacchanalia Cambridge/UK £2.99
