L- Quite deep amber, bottle-conditioned and some sediment entered the pour here right at the end hence slightly hazy. Pours with good looking 1Cm near white head. (ps Holding unusually well, now 20mins after pouring).
S- I seem to get a mild fruit note from it, perhaps apple... certainly mild though so unclear.
T- It has some major hoppy-dryness, both on the very front of it's taste, and then on the back of the throat too into the finish. Seems that wasn't just a bold first impression on my first beer of the day, the striking hops continue to make their presence felt as I work my way through it. Hop-heads might love this one, but to be they are just a bit over-dominant.
F- Pungent hoppy dryness, should be a star at slaking a serious thirst on a summers day.
O- As seriously hoppy+dry as it is it seems to me more of an old-school trad IPA hopping, I don't detect any lychee, mandarin or other more youthful NEIPA-like hop notes here; thank heavens.
330ml bottle BB: Can't find it, it tastes fresh though. £3.20 from Bacchanalia, Mill Road, Cambridge/UK.
