Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the Aventinus Weizen glass. Aroma of grapefruit and orange. Malty and on the sweet side to start, with a slowly emerging acidity. Grapefruit juice and peel are the main flavors. Pleasant winey finish but quite bitter. Actually the citrus taste is nice but it a harsh mistress. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. No apparent date.
