22 oz. bottle:
Pours hazed yellow with a fluffy white head. Lacing sticks.
The smell is citric and tropical with a hint of coconut (that might be power of suggestion).
The taste is of citrus with tropical (pineapple, mango) notes. Toasted coconut is mild initially, but comes out in the aftertaste. Sweetness comes through to make it a more balanced IPA.
It is medium-bodied. A bit oily/slick. Alcohol relatively well-covered.
A unique IPA. The coconut is subtle, which is probably a good thing in this case. Recommended!

Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Clear light golden pour. 2 fingers of foamy white head. Falls quickly with great sticky lacing.
S: Biscuity grains and subdued citrus... very faint coconut... wouldn't have recognized it if it hadn't been in the name.
T/F: Crackers and grain... earthy... citrus and tropical fruit... pineapple... really picking up the roast coconut on the finish/aftertaste. It's there but subtle... a little earthy throughout. Medium to light in body. Oily and sticky.
O: Not bad... and an interesting pairing between coconut and the tropical hop notes. There's something a little 'off' in the flavor that I can't quite put my finger on. Nothing terrible, but something doesn't quite mesh. Overall glad I tried it and enjoyed the brew.

Lumpy, slowly selling head. Good, chunky lace on the glass. The liquid is dark, dirty gold with a mild haze.
First impression is of fresh cream. I then get a whiff of coconut. Great bouquet but not like an IPA.
The taste is IPA with faint coconut notes. The hop is strong with a black pepper bite. The creaminess translates to a richer body. Good carbonation as well. Long bitter aftertaste. I almost wish the coconut were missing as my first impression would be that this is gimmicky. It is not.

Lighter and less hoppy than many IPAs go, this beer leaves a thick, creamy head when poured but not heavy at all. Its taste is a bit citrusy, and the coconut is definitely there, though perhaps more in the scent than the flavor. I think I tend to be a fan of more flavorful drinks, but this is perfectly palatable and has a nice, sweet finish.

Poured from 22oz bomber into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam. Not bad at all.
Smell: earthy, herbal hops, toasted coconut and a bit of an underlying piquancy. It's interesting, but it doesn't really work as a combination here.
Taste: earthy, coconutty, and rather bitter. I could see the mélange working in some formulation, but it just doesn't come together in this brew.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer is too rough to be super drinkable. That said, I applaud at least giving something this weird a shot.

Had this on draft at my local go to hangout. I had never tried any beer from this brewery. I found out it was a local brewery so I had to try. It had a light smell and taste of coconut. This was good for me. It wasn't too sweet, was crisp and definitely refreshing. The stronger hop pine citrus IPA flavors came out with each sip. I enjoyed this IPA and I did have another. Too bad its retired. Prost!! #drinklocal

Palate Contaminants: other beer
Appearance is a moderately opaque darkish amber. The lacing goes away fairly quickly.
Smell is true to the advertised augmentation, coconut that I'd say is lightly toasted and has a little of the milk sweetness. A slight bit of malt and bitter hops are discernible, too.
What's there of coconut in the nose is also there in the taste, but there's also a pleasant woodiness. Unfortunately, there's not much more depth (maybe some raisin), but what's there is plenty pleasant. I'm a little surprised that it's more bitter than sweet, but unfortunately the bitterness is indistinct.
Feel is finely carbonated, and the mouthfeel is slightly chewy.

not much aroma, bland kind of head, although there was a small amount of rising bubbles.... got the coconut on the tongue, but it leaves a residual oiliness with a slightly bitter, but chemical, aftertaste. more novelty than beer at this point, in my opinion.... it says "drink fresh" yet there is not a date on the bottle i can find.
