Black colored beer with a medium sized brown colored head.
Smells strongly of patent malt and oak. Caramel and vanilla. Faint scent of whiskey. Smokey scent and slightly medicinal smelling.
Starts out mildly sweet and tasting strongly of chocolate. This is not a dry stout. Slight coffee taste but mostly this tastes of toasted chocolate cake. Not really bitter, it mostly comes from the patent malt used. Whiskey taste is hard to find though.
Mouthfeel is average.
Overall a tasty and easy to drink beer. BUT it is nothing like Irish Dry Stout!

L: Dark brown, with some dark tan head.
S: Not quite sure how to define the smell. It doesn’t smell like a typical stout.
T: A fairly classic irish dry stout but with some added flavor. For some reason the flavor reminds me of peanut butter (that’s not what it tastes like, that’s just what comes to mind and I have no other words to describe it). There are some hints of whiskey in the flavor. Flavor is also a bit metallic, which is a negative. Only slightly sweet
F: Medium-full body. A tiny bit crisp (has crispy and creamy aspects)
O: not bad, nothing special. wouldn’t get again.
