Poured from an undated 16oz can into a mug. Forms 2.5 fingers of an off-white foamy head on an aggressive pour. The color is deep yellow, and completely clear. Head retention and lacing are both pretty typical for the style. The look overall is a very traditional WC IPA. Smell is your typical mosaic hops — very floral and citrusy. Taste follows the nose, with citrus and floral notes dominating. Alcohol is pretty well masked, which isn't surprising for 6.5 % abv beer. The taste is pretty consistent, even as the the beer get some time to warm. Pretty average as far as carbonation, and the feel overall. This is the only beer I've head from this brewery, which I haven't heard about previously. To me it was a pleasant surprise, in as it checks all of the boxes of wha I'm looking for in my traditional west-coast IPAs. I would buy this again.
