Pours slightly hazed golden yellow A thin white head almost immediately becomes a lasting island. Very little lacing.
The smell is of bread, with mild cherry juice.
The taste is of musty wheat malt, cherry pit. A bit of salt in the finish. Not as tart as expected, but some in the aftertaste. (In my opinion very close to the next highest score, but not quite there.)
The feel is the best part. Smooth, zesty, light and refreshing.
The cherry is mild (not necessarily a bad thing). As far as a gose it has the traditional characteristics, with a twist of mild tart cherry.
