this is amazing beer, my first from these guys. apparently brewed as a one year anniversary celebration, i think its unique and special. belgian pale to ipa in style, but very different than others. for one, its super super fluffy and expansive on the palate, owing to more than just lively carbonation and plenty of body, but also a beautifully dialed in mash bill and process. the hops stand out too, bright and resinous, bitter enough, but fruity enough as well to support the yeast in this, which has a nice mix of sweet and spice to it. hints of lemongrass, thyme, pine, and orange peel, there is plenty going on in this, especially in the finish, which is long and layered, but not sweet at all. almost has the feel of a nitro beer, except for the prickle. for a brewery i had never even heard of before this beer, its absolutely incredible. one of the best belgian pale types of the year for me so far. i wish this was packaged and for sale here in colorado, its sensational. made by some really nice folks too!

Beautiful appearance. Golden with hints of amber. Nice foamy head. Floral nose with some sweetness. Nice bitterness up front with a sharp hop bite. Some sweet citrusy notes even things out.
