Chill hazed gold. Tropical hop aroma and flavor with a touch of funk from Galaxy hops. Decent balance with solid bitterness. Medium bodied and smooth.

Reviewed 5 weeks after canning. Poured into nonic pint glass. Hazy, honey-orange with a fluffy, egg-white cap and thick swirls of lacing. A bright, fruity nose featuring lemon, grapefruit, peach, and berry. The taste opens with tart lemon and grapefruit, along with a strong dose of pine sap, balanced by some sweet tropical fruit notes. While not biting, there is sharp bitterness throughout. This ale is well-bodied and appropriately carbonated, and the 8.5% ABV gives it a nice kick. Overall, a nice offering from Log Boat.

Honey colored body with a thin head yet leaves sheets of foam down the glass. Not much aroma; a bit of light grain and some esters. Big toasted malt flavor; some caramel and a slow-building mild hop bitterness. Heavy body; warm and oily with a hint of alcohol burn.
A respectable DIPA...

From an aluminum can, this beer has a thick and frothy head. The appearance is a peach color with a bit of light haze. Very citrus aroma...I get lemon, a bit of orange, and other fruit. Musty hoppy spice. Balanced, with solid bitterness. There is fruit through the finish. Wonderful.

P12oz can. oured out a clear, copper color with a small white head. It smelled of citrus, grapefruit, mango and pineapple. It tasted of sweet caramel, citrus, grapefruit and piney bitterness. It was crisp and medium bodied.
