Dull gold to light copper in color with a quarter inch of densely packed, tightly knit off white. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of piney hops and dark roasted coffee. I'm tasting mostly the coffee, but the intensity doesn't seem quite as aggressive as the nose would have me think. The piney hops reveal their selves at the back of the palate. Well balanced between the coffee and hop flavors. The mouth is a bit oily and lightly sticky.

Pours a frosted wheat color with just a hint of orange. Head foams up to nearly two fingers in height and white in color. Head retention is fair with great lacing left behind. Aroma features big notes of coffee. Slightly charred, and bitter, but a good cold brew aroma. Slight citrus and pine hops hide behind. Flavor profile is cold brew coffee throughout. Additional notes of citrus, pine, and spruce hops mingle with biscuit malts to complete a wonderful beer-y back bone for the coffee. Mouth feel is medium in thickness, with a light crispness. Overall, the coffee notes mingle well with the IPA notes, and both are done well at their base. This is one tasty coffee IPA that doesn't batter the tongue with complexity or bitterness.
Served in a 12oz snifter from a can.

Newly canned beer by Logboat. Poured a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled roasty coffee. Strong coffee flavor with some caramel sweetness at the finish. Crisp and smooth.
