Honeydew, grapefruit and spruce! All flavors you can expect from the first fresh hopped beer on our pilot system! What does fresh hop mean? Well, 80 lbs of Oregon grown Strata Hops from Crosby Hops were picked on 8/29 and then overnighted to us. We infused them in the beer on 8/30, within 24hrs of harvesting. This incredibly fresh Pale ale was brewed with 2-Row base malt only to let the hop character shine.

On draft. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of orange, grapefruit, caramel and resin. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.
