Rich and complex with a few speciality malts, midnight wheat, chocolate rye, toasted oats and carafa 3 to bring out big dark chocolate and coffee notes. This stout has a full velvety mouthfeel reminiscent of an imperial stout while only having the ABV of a regular stout.

Draft at Shakespeare's West. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky patches of lace. It smelled of roasted malt, some rye and chocolate. Sweet chocolate taste with rye, coffee and caramel. Great bitterness for balance.
