Once opened the beer shot out of the bottle like a fountain. When poured it created so much head that I was unable to get 1/4 of a pint glass.

Pours an amber color with a decent sized off white head, fades at a decent rate with not much lacing on the glass.
Smell has a strong caramel malt backing with a light hop aroma, bit of a toffee presence as well.
Taste is definitely on the malt heavy side of things with caramel and toffee the prominent flavor, mild bitterness in the aftertaste along with a slight burntness, decent body with a fairly good creamy mouthfeel.
