Off the tap this beer was a clear, golden color with one-finger of off-white head. The retention was weak and it left no lacing. The aroma was of pale malt, Ale yeast, grainy and a cellar-like must. The flavors were light and pleasant, pale malt, corn in the middle, a little cream sweetness in the middle from sweet malt and a touch of bitterness at the end. Easy drinking and balanced, a good summery, session beer. The mouthfeel was good, the body light and the carbonation good.

This cream ale is hazy yellow in color with a small white cap of foam. Very little carbonation, as with most of the Jasper Murdock beers. No scent, not one that I could pick up anyways. Not much in the taste either, very light, very crisp. The aftertaste is where the flavors kick in. An apple aftertaste as with more cream ales. All is very subtle.

Prickly on the mouth, which tantalizes and activates the taste buds. A crispness with a fruitiness consisting of green grapes. More fruity but less carbonated then a good cream ale like Genny Cream.

This is a tough one to review, because this beer is not supposed to have much in terms of aroma and taste, making it high in drinkability.

A light, easy drinking beer. Would be nice very cold, on a very hot day. It was served at a cellar temperature, maybe 55 degrees. If you tried serving any other Cream Ale at that temperate, I'm sure it would be an unpleasant experience. At the temp this beer was served at, all I have to say is: wow! This is a winner.
