500ml bottle from Oak Tree Inn Shop, Balmaha, Scotland (£2.99):
This definitely started well & I was really enjoying the sweetness on the nose early on but sadly this wasn't carried through to the flavour & the earthy malts & bitterness seemed to take more of a front seat. The biggest disappointment was the fact that the beer almost seemed watery in places as well as being a touch bland before the background fruits appeared right at the end but these could have been stronger & the beer would have a better one for it.

Half pint at 'spoons in Paisley. Amber coloured beer with a head which rapidly dissipated to the rim. Little nose but a hint of carrot. Feels offputtingly watery with some carrot and some orange as well as being slightly biscuity. The hops just about hold sway, but it feels like something is missing here or perhaps it just needs to be a lot bolder.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
