Beautiful orange, lightly veiled. A lot of foam, not too godd (big bubbles).
The smell is delicate and pleasant, citrus, some pineapple, melon, lychee.
Same for the taste, well done and balanced.
Smooth body, velvety, without being too heavy. Fruity.
Citric end, a bit of astringency.

Gold coloured cask ale at Cove and Kilcreggab Real Ale Festival. Passion fruit nose; quite sherbety with orange and a hint of pineapple (or is that just what passion fruit tastes like?); decent stuff.

Can, Lidl. Canned 3 days ago. Wow.
Pours cloudy gold, small head. Does say unfiltered.
Big dank pineappley aroma, sweet match head, fresh fruit salad . Noice.
Taste is similar sans the matchhead. Bitterness and sweetness well balanced. Slight mineral drying finish. Excellent beer, even better price at £1.69 a 440ml can.

£ 3.85/Imperial pint on hand pump at Ptarmigan Pub, Drywell, Scotland.
Appearance – 4.
Body – Initially hazy until it sits briefly, then golden yellow and clear.
Head – Creamy and off-white. Multiple fills until the volume was above the one-pint line. Almost looks too good to drink!
Lacing – None.
First pour – N/A.
Aroma – 3.5 – Fruity and weak but still very pleasing.
Flavor – 4.5 – Begins very soft and slightly sweet with tropical fruity overtones and malt. Rapidly shifts to slightly bitter. No alcohol, no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 4 – Light, watery, soft carbonation.
Impression and summation – 4.25 – This is billed at the pump as a “New World IPA”, no doubt because of the mosaic hops, although here on BA it’s an American Pale Ale. Whatever you call it, it’s a very pleasurable experience – light and fragrant with a fruity taste. It is certainly less bitter than any American IPA and less bitter than many APAs. At 5% ABV, it tastes more like a session IPA than anything else. Very good – I look forward several more before I leave.

Pint at Shilling Brewing Co, Glasgow (£5.70):
This one was quite a nice offering from Loch Lomond and a beer that seemed both fresh and balanced with a lively feel that was quite bitter too. There was a nice combination of fruits and citrus hops with touches of malt adding a sweetness to the beer later on, something that was enough to keep it drinkable and interesting throughout.
