i have been having their beers all over greater denver for what seems like years now, but have yet to make it up to the brewery until now. i was surprised how cool it was honestly, not sure what i was expecting, but its an expansive yet cozy atmosphere, with a huge beer list and apparently some great fried chicken, but i didnt eat, although i will absolutely be back for that! they have a restaurant side and a sort of outside bar side, covered but sunny though a ton of windows, the bar is huge and runs two sided through the whole thing. they have some outside space, a little private event bar room in the back, an open kitchen, and a decent sized brewing operation visible from anywhere in here. i sat at the bar and admired the clean and new look of the equipment, and the contrast against the colorado woody decor. they had a long list of beers, and i enjoyed an abbey dubbel the most, especially being served out of this beautiful stemmed glassware, the shape of which i dont think i have seen before. i also enjoyed a french amber they were calling lovey dovey, and a dark weizenbock that was quite authentic. service was friendly and cool. surprised they dont get more attention for their beers, they were all quite good, but they only seem to can the safer, more generic releases. i know they dont brew it all on site there anymore, but i think their beers were in general very good at the location in lafayette. this would be a real fun place to post up on a saturday and absolutely tie one on. i hope to do that before long!

Great vibe in this joint. The bar service while we waited for our table was great. However the service was terrible once we were seated. I enjoyed the Townie Pale Ale the best.

Let's be honest, the food is the superstar here at The Post Brewing Co. They were recognized in a Best of Denver article for best fried chicken and best pie. I got the spicy fried chicken and a blueberry pie a la mode and they were fantastic. A+ food. The beer selection was relatively small, I think 8 taps and 1 was out. The beers were good but not really noteworthy. They paired very well with the food though. The service was excellent and attentive sitting at the bar area. It was packed and vibrant and I would definitely go here again.
