not a bad ipa here, but i may have liked this one least of all from my trip to this really hip little brewery. its a clear golden ipa, not a ton of grain weight to it, and a very mild hop profile, not half as intense as i expected it to be. there is some grapefruit citrus type hops, and enough bitterness for it to fit the style, but it all seems reserved and subtle. i think the mouthfeel hurt it more than its relative lack of uniqueness though, as it seemed rather under carbonated and finished really long, even for the style. the dillinger pale ale was awesome, and the other beers i had here were inventive and tasty, this one just didnt seem to contribute much on the whole. still, awesome brewery, beautiful taproom, some of the nicest folks i have encountered in the business, and a place brimming with potential for greatness. id be shocked if they didnt rework this one and make it great in the future.

Harsh, not balanced. A disappointment
