Our India Pale Ale catches the eye with its copper to orange color. The hoppy nose, rounded out with notes of citrus and pine, make this an unmistakable IPA. Medium bodied, Shifting Sands is not overwhelmingly bitter, but it contains a lasting bitterness characteristic of its style.

I got a can of this beer from my BRAH-in-law whom brought it to 4th of July par-tay. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had subtle citrus and pine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with bitter citrus and pine resin presence. The mouthfeel is medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Copper colored with a quarter inch of creamy beige on top. Heavy lacing. The aroma is of light malt and earthy hops. I’m tasting vegetal hops and light malt. The mouth is dry and lightly resinous.

Very nice example of the style and a solid offering from this local brewery. Pours a darker golden color with some nice fluffy head and some spotty lingering lacing. Smells of citrus zest, herbal and some fainter piney hops. Tastes similarly - mainly grapefruit, tangerine and lemon fruity hops - as well as caramel, bread and a nice malt backbone. Smooth mild mouthfeel, good carbonation. Well balanced and easy to drink, just wish there were a little more bitterness at the finish.
