Maibock’s were traditionally brewed in the fall in Germany and lagered until the spring, but this helles style bock can be enjoyed anytime of the year. Brewed with Weyermann Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts, and hopped with German Northern Brewer hops, this malty bock is rich and smooth with toasty and bready malt flavors and a crisp finish with just enough hops to balance this brew out.

Had on tap. Partially cloudy amber body with two fingers of white foam and lacing. Fresh bread, dough, grass, and caramel malt nose. Taste is much the same with slight earthy tones to the bready notes but stops short of being grainy. Feel is medium bodied, smooth yet bready, bright for style, but has a little of a rougher finish with the hops and hints of booze. The wife liked it

Had this on 2017-10-30 in Warrenville, IL from a Crowler canned 24 hours ago at the brewery
A - Beautiful clear gold with a 1-Finger white head and light lace.
S - Rising whole wheat dough/yeast, hint of caramel and grassy spice. Mild but pleasant.
T - Lightly toasted wheat bread with a thin spread of grape jam, earthy spice, light citrus flesh. Appropriately bitter for the style and the malt flavors continue to provide great balance through the finish. Delicious.
M - Medium body and light-medium carbonation. Mildly sticky before mostly drying out.
O - This is a great beer! I can see why it won silver at 2015 and 2017 GABF. I'll look for this again.

Solid.
20oz draft pour into a dimpled stein shows a darker straw colored body floating a 1/2in fluffy whitish head.
Aroma is bready malt and fresh air.
Taste matches, a little hop bitterness touches at the back end.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated with a clean finish.
Overall have it with any food. Very nice.

Cloudy, light copper with a foamy head. Toast and bread on the nose. Sweet, but not cloting with just enough hop bitterness at the end to balance out the malt. Mouthfeel is smooth with light, but firm carbonation.

Cloudy copper with a short fluffy head. Scent of fresh yeast, fruity hops, light caramel, mild sugar, and bready malt. Taste of crisp bread, subtle alcohol, dank, and fruity hops. A little abrasive, but absolutely worth a try.
