Bottled 2/8/17. Dark, turning red and chips, minimal head and leasing. Strong smell of raspberry, notes of chocolate and Rusty Stout. Taste is tangy raspberry with a very mellow and velvety chocolate with the toasty and grow Steve stout notes. Soft, velvety feel, slightly oily. Pretty good

22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Bottled 2/8/17, had 4/20/17.
Pours dark, cocoa looking, opaque, with a thin, foamy, quickly dissipating head and some spotty lacing. Smells of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, some vanilla, a berry-like aroma. The taste is not as roasted malt, raspberries, chocolate, cocoa, molasses, some alcohol. Some bitterness up front, a little buttery (?). Smooth, a solid medium to full body, well carbonated.
A good raspberry flavor, good aroma, but something is missing that didn’t make it all that good overall. And it didn’t have a very good price point.

Look is deep black with a hint of red where the head meets the body. Nice khaki head that settles into a thin ring rather rapidly.
Smell is impressive. Tart and I mean tart raspberries and chocolate. Smells like a decadent dessert.
Taste follows nose. Wicked tart raspberries and an almost dark chocolate/bakers chocolate kiss to it. Definately not as sweet as i imagined it.
Feel is where this beer falls short. Feel is thin and odd at first. Taste makes up for it though..
Overall an awesome beer if you like huge tart raspberries and chocolate in your stouts. Not recommended for those that appreciate subtlety!

Appearance - Pours jet black with nice mocha colored head that dissipates to a thin ring around the glass.
Aroma - Holy cow this thing smells like decadent dark chocolate and fresh tart raspberries. I mean it is just very rich nothing but chocolate raspberry cake.
Taste - The taste is a little less decadent, I was afraid it would be too sweet or thick. Mostly tart raspberries a touch of dark chocolate and a little vanilla and roasted malts. Very tasty not too sweet.
Feel - The feel is a little odd at first , it hints your mouth like it will be really heavy but it is a little thin on the finish. No sign of the alcohol.
Overall - A really well done beer, it captures the tartness and the chocolate very well. Wonderful cake like aroma.

Very tasty beer, but lots of sweetness and raspberry flavor to it. Got a bit overbearing after a bit for me.

The only down side is it was just a touch too sweet. It was hard to finish the bottle. But overall it was like drinking Godiva dark chocolate and raspberry purée!
