Dull and scuffed 8 ball black with a softly foamy but short tan head.

I was expecting not to like this, and while the stout delivers a very iHop blueberry syrup flavor, I mean, well, it's right on the nose for what they're going for actually. A mild heat and toastiness come out in the semi-dry finish.

Canned 11/21/19; drank 12/31/19 @ the Yarchives.

Black appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice tan head; frothy, tree-rung lace.

"Oops All Berries" & maple syrup notes in the nose.

Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.

SWEET blueberry syrup & maple syrup flavors; nothing else.

Extract hell pastry stout. No art to this at all. Avoid.

22oz bottle dated NO/ / 2018 and poured into a snifter boasts a midnight black body and floats a 1/2in tight-boddied, chestnut colored head. Sheets of lacing on agitation leave artistic leopard spots behind.

Tart blueberries are drenched in maple syrup as they both deserve to drip over the edge of a stack of fluffy vanilla pancakes. Maple aftertaste begs another forkfull and reminds one of the bourbon barrel influence.

A creamy, full mouthfeel is perfect for the style variant. 14% abv? Where?

Overall it's amazing, delicious, oh, yeah and sweet.

In a blind taste test I am confident that I could pick out a Vlad variant easily. The flavors are always so explosive and upfront. Here is no exception with big sweet blueberry, maple and bourbon rocking the palate. Blueberry is kind of like sugary blueberry muffin, and maple is fresh from the tree. Has supporting big vanilla, semi-sweet chocolate, brown sugar, sweet malt, and slight wood. Certainly sweet, but delicious

Hailstorm hits it out of the park with this one. Absolutely incredible.

It's very blueberry forward, so keep that in mind. Maple is there, but kind of on the back. It's adds a nice not fruity sweetness to it. And as always with Vlads, the barrel is on the end and the alcohol is very well hidden.

I'm a Vlad fanboy, but for good reason. Every Vlad, (except the good awful Spumoni) has been extremely good. This one is fantastic
