Poured a shiny jet black with no head. Smell was very pleasant, with big chocolate syrup, roasted salted nuts, vanilla, roasted malt and some salted caramel. Taste was not as pleasant, with the flavors combining to make a chocolate and nutty ash tray. Some sips were like the smell, others had the ash and a little rust. The body had a nice robust thickness with fun textures.

Released 11/10/18; drank 11/30/18 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A violent pour yielded a small dark khaki head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Vanilla extract, chocolate syrup, cream & a mild metallic twang in the nose.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel. Vanilla extract & chocolate syrup flavors up front; cream, honeyed wheat, mild burnt caramel & that same metallic twang on the finish.
A cloying, gross mess. Too many cooks, methinks...
