Loved loved loved this beer.... is everything that you want a Bohemian pilsner to be... crisp and clean and super refreshing. If I were able to get this consistently I would drink it all summer out by the pool.... just a terrific terrific effort from the Tinley Park crew....super delicious pilsner....

Had on tap at Orange and Brew. This was a very good pilsner. Light, crisp, clean and refreshing. After drinking milkshake IPA and hazy's this was a refreshing change of paste. Bravo Hailstorm.

Pours a dark golden color. Mostly clear albeit with a slight haze. Quite effervescent. Two finger velvety white head dissipates somewhat, but not completely. Nice hefty layer of velvety foam remains on the top of the beer.
Aroma is dominated by a strong hoppy aroma - notes of lemon grass, lemon zest, and flowers - its like a bouquet of dried wild flowers. Some light sweet malt notes come through along with a tangy yeasty aroma.
Taste is the reverse of the nose with strong malt notes up front. Lots of cracker malts and grain. Quickly gives way to a spicy grassy hops finish with a moderate bitterness. The sweetness is more of a malty sweetness and is quite mild. Finish kind of drops off leaving just a lingering grassy bitterness on the palate.
Feel is light and crisp. Drinkable with a moderate soft carbonation.
Overall a solid Bohemian pilsner. Its not quite up to a true traditional bohemian pilsner, but its a good beer on its own.

Goldenrod body with two fingers of white foam. Yeasty and malty in the smell, has buttery and toasted honey accents to it. Taste is smooth and clean, with full fresh baked bread, honey, grains, and slight herbal hops on the finish. Feel is crisp and gentle. Nice representation of the style

Deep saturated orange, good clarity and a finger of foam.
Aroma initially of lager yeast and light sulfur, later mildly malty.
Taste is clean and malty, bready with a light honeyish aftertaste.
Vague lemony noble hop tang, not much bitterness and not sweet either.
Light bodied, though with substance. Gentle carbonation, smooth feel.
Overall very drinkable if not especially assertive. Worth a try but for my money, Dovetail makes the best Czech Pils locally.
