L - flat, deep chocolate body with not even an impression of a head after a fairly aggressive pour
S - maple syrup, alcohol, vanilla extract
T - maple syrup, vanilla... and that’s about it
F - literally feels like drinking maple syrup straight
O - there’s not much to this beer. It’s boozy, it’s incredibly sweet, and that’s where it ends. It honestly tastes like some maple syrup was blended in with the finished product. The first couple sips are ok, but it really wears on you over the course of an 8oz pour, almost to the point of becoming sickening. Maybe it would be good served over pancakes.

Thank you Tom for sharing this one. The hype machine is very strong on this one, and I love hailstorm, more specifically I love ba maple vlad, but this is super sweet and boozy, oh yeah and 18% abv, so plan for a nap after this one. Viscous and sticky pour, no head. Smells like a praline: HUGE maple, caramel, vanilla, and bourbon. Taste has super sugary maple, vanilla, and then a huge boozy backend. Do yourself and lay this one down, for the sweetness and booze dominate the feel too. A decadent dessert, smells and tastes great, but rough around the edges. Barrel candy
