Can pour into chilled beer chalice. Coal black and oily thick.
Maple sweetness immense on nose. Vanilla aromas blend superbly with coffee. Finishes deep and complex with all three flavors mingling on palate.
Mouthfeel soft and Creamy.
Velvety finish with maple lingering.
Incredibly delicious. Superb offering from Hailstorm. They brew outstanding IPA'S, this shows their acumen at stouts.

Poured from 16oz can. Smell of maple hits upon opening of the can. Pours thick into the glass, even more maple aroma. First sip was as advertised with the smell, the maple hits right away with a hint of vanilla. This is not the breakfast variant, but it tastes like I poured maple syrup into a quality stout. Sipped slowly, and the maple stuck throughout. I really like maple stouts and this was one of the best I have had. I am glad I bought more than one, but really needs to be shared as it is way too sweet to finish by myself.
