Crisp and refreshing blonde ale brewed with Mount Hood, Golding and Citra hops. Subtle notes of melon, passion fruit and lime in the aroma. A real thirst Quencher.

My bestie got a crowler of this beer that we are drinking out of a phizzics contraption. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had grain presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain malt base and subtle mild hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Had this at Comrade in early June 2019. This is their non beer geek crowd pleaser beer.
Pours blonde/yellow/golden, light, 1/3" white head, average clarity. For all the commercial tug job about the citra hop, I found this to be pretty lacking in the citra aroma, compare this with something like the bigger Widmer Citra Blonde, and you might not be stressing all that buy local, indie cliche stuff.
Taste was mild as expected, but at least there was more of the Citra character there. Refreshing is probably the most frequently used word when describing a light bodied beer. Surprised to see the abv up there in the 6 range. Didn't show up in the tasting, not like its a double digit banger or anything, but still. A good summer beer, but I think a bigger dry hop blast and even bittering usage of Citra would make for a better beer from a hop head perspective. I'd pay $10 for a 6 pack because I drink with a lot of people in the summertime who would dig it more than I did.

Pale brass color, floral grassy smell with a hop presence, taste follows — not a lot of taste actually, but a great thirst quencher. What I’m looking for on a hot summer day.

underwhelming but still delicious, if that makes sense. i think we all wanted this to be a little hoppier. the say its a citra heavy blonde, but its not that citra driven, more a blonde ale than a hoppy beer, it doesnt impress me that much, although its hard to argue with the quality, which is almost always the case with comrade. just a little haze to it and a great head, on tap at park burger pearl street. smells a little fruity, lemon and tangerine, but the citra is behind the pale malt. slight honey sweetness from the grain and a floral aromatic as well. the flavor lines up with the nose about exactly, and its somewhat bland compared to expectations, but its a perfect beer to pound down with something like a greasy bacon cheeseburger there at the bar, so probably a good one to have on there. also useful as summer approaches, good to have well crafted session beers like this one for hot weather. i would like to see the dry hop ramped up substantially, but hard to argue this one, and a nice example of the style overall, better than most of its peers.

This one was okay, probably my least favorite of all the ones I tried, but still a very drinkable beer. Light, summery, not quite as intensely flavored as some of their other brews, but good on a hot day.
