A really solid pale ale here, not looking particularly impressive, just another golden beer that won't hold a head from the tap. However the beer is great, has a beautiful fresh hop character and enough grain body to make me slow down and appreciate it. C varietal palate, nothing outrageous as far as tropical fruit, resins, or anything else. It's like a mellowed version of their superpower IPA with a similar grain bill. Carbonation is good despite its look. As much as my feelings about comrade are mixed, their beer continues to be better than average.
