Not exactly what I was expecting from a Belgian Wheat. Pleasant banana undertones but with almost no aroma. I do love the color. The hoppiness was unexpected but I definitely felt it grew on me during the sampling. All that said, the flavor falls flat for me and leaves it forgettable.

Pale yellow, clear in the pint nonic. This tastes more like an American style wheat than a Witbier. Some wheaty Malt-O-Meal taste, then a faint orange peel note. Quite delicate and fragrant.
This is a nice change from the usual Wits, and it's tops for drinkability. Mellow and malty aftertaste. On tap at the brewpub in Denver. The current version is 5.3%.

This was a nice summer beer, very representative of the style. I got all the typical witbier flavors, plus a bit more hops than I expected, but it blended together well. A bit high ABV for what it is, but nothing too steep. Would definitely have this one again.

Was soapy and that really took away from it, otherwise really nice.

like all comrade beers, this one is pretty good. perhaps a little less compelling than their hugely popular ipa, but its good beer. really really hoppy for a wit, which i dig a lot, some fruity notes in there with the yeast, great carbonation, and a bright yet dry mouthfeel that accentuates the best features of the style without being distracting the the flavors. i taste white wheat and belgian yeast, a hint of pink gumball and maybe even some coriander herbaceous quality, but the taste is quite good, more subtle than i am making it sound, but thats what i pick out. also, so much hops for the style, refreshing to see the boldness. lingering finish is a little off, and again, the pretentious nature of the brewery is somewhat of a knock against all the beer, but i think thats improving too. i could drink five of these happily, and i will continue to look out for new ones from these guys, its way better than it should be for how new they are...
