Served on draft
Appearance: golden and bright, so bright you can see right through it and even read through it - literally! Head fades very quickly, especially for the style, leaving only a lacing at the edges.
Aroma: There is nothing here. Blindfolded, you'd be unable to identify the style.
Flavor: Beer is hoppy per style, but no unique hop flavors exist - no tropical fruit, pine, etc. It is more of a generic hoppiness or a muddied blend of the aforementioned flavors. There is a cardboard-like flavor in the background...oxidized?
Mouthfeel: light-medium - just right for the style of beer.
Overall: this beer is good but far from great. This beer is not worth the effort to pursue.

Growler pour review. Filled 2 days ago at Comrade. Served cold into a nonic pint. Reviewed live as an IPA per Comrade's beer board. Expectations are high given how good Superpower is.
No bubble show forms as it's poured.
HEAD: Still has good carbonation, pouring a healthy 10cm wide head of off-white colour. Foamy and frothy as can be, with a sticky even consistency. Leaves spotty coating lacing on the sides of the glass as it recedes. Retains for about 5 minutes.
BODY: It's a typical copper colour, but it's a bit paler than most IPAs, suggestive perhaps of less caramalt than most beers in the style. Clear, clean, obviously filtered, and yeast-free. Vibrant.
It's a nice looking IPA. Not unique or special within its style, but few beers are when it comes to appearances.
AROMA: Fresh pale malts, fragrant floral hop notes, fresh cut grass-y notes, and vague citrus. Not resinous, piney, or oily. I dig the absence of annoying caramalt sweetness, and the hop profile seems clean and balanced.
Aromatic intensity is moderate. No yeast character, booze, or off-notes come through.
TASTE: Pretty simple, actually. Just a pleasant one-two punch of pale malts and fresh floral hops, with subsidiary vague citrus in there too. The hop profile is a bit disappointing, and the beer's simplicity lends it a plain borderline watery taste. Hop bitterness is balanced by the pale malt sweetness. There's no booze or off-notes, but this is pretty underwhelming overall. The shallow build isn't particularly cohesive, let alone gestalt, and flavour duration and intensity are average.
TEXTURE: A bit coarse, actually, especially in the third act - which doesn't serve the beer. The rough dryness that accompanies really reduces the beer's ability to refresh. Medium-bodied, well-carbonated, and approachable. Far too thin, with a weak presence on the palate.
Doesn't seem tailored specifically to this beer's flavour profile. Fails to accentuate specific notes or to elevate the beer as a whole.
OVERALL: Not as drinkable as its modest ABV would have you think it should be, and ultimately a let-down coming from the brewery that makes Superpower. Its simple no-frills flavour profile might scratch your IPA itch, but the hop presence is more on par with a pale ale than an IPA, and this won't impress the discerning drinker. On the high side of average, but the cleanliness of its mouthfeel is a highlight.

While I did like this, bearing the Honeyman name I did expect a lot more. This is my least favorite of the five I've had, but I'd still be happy to come home to this :)
