A mahogany ale, single hopped with Mandarina Bavaria hops. A bright and beautiful mahogany color, the hops lend an aroma of sweet tangerine peel with a distinctive citrus flavor.

This one looked and smelled better than it tasted. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. The single-hop nature of the beer means it is very dependent on what they choose, but it seemed a bit out of balance to me. Not sure how to put my finger on it, but this one was my least favorite of everything I've tried here so far.

Kind of like an old school English porter. Called a mahogany ale, that's what it looks like. It's either a hoppy brown or lighter hoppy porter. Whatever, anyways...
Roasty nose, some nut and malt. A bit of hops, but they aren't coming through quite yet. Some tweaking in future recipes will bring them out. Flavor is also malty and roasty. The mandarin just isn't there, but there is a hop bite. It's still a good beer. Like a light old English porter
