this is definitely my favorite beer in this series so far, on tap at falling rock, its a darn good one. the hop profile is amazing. really distinct and bright, yum. hazy pale yellow color, pretty washed out looking for a pale ale, super heady though, nice rings as it sips as well. it smells spectacular. i get galaxy hops right away, they are so pungent and unique, and they are in here for sure. as for the other varietals used, its hard to guess, but they are equally lively and forward in this. i would guess there is maybe a little white wheat malt in the base beer here, it has that fuller body and dry cereal flavor to it beneath the hops. its just enough support for the boldness of the hops here. galaxy leads the way, a little tart and sweet at the same time like a passion fruit, with some orange peel flavor in behind it. moderate bitterness only, a lot more flavor than bite to this. fuller bodied but soft, dry, and well carbonated. these guys have really established themselves as the local kind of hops, and this another great beer in their lineup of awesome hoppy beers!
