Tasty and pleasing with nice mouth feel but a bit underwhelming in terms of color and overall appeal. Aftertaste lingers pleasantly. This beer's taste is very well balanced.

This is a very good Oktoberfest, with extra credit for the awesome name. It's a touch hoppier than most others of the style, but coming from this brewery that's not a huge surprise. You get the spice and the malt flavor for sure, and at just over 6%, you can have a couple without getting overloaded. This is only available for a few weeks in mid to late September generally, so make plans to get here and try some.

jewel tone amber, slightly cloudy. Malty bready smell, a nice marten taste but seems a bit watered down. Light, crisp feel, overall nice but nothing special.
