Clear golden amber brew with bubbles streaming in the chalice. Prickly on the tongue with the malty body. Smooth and mellow with a rich mouthfeel. Some hints of perfumey hops but there is just a scratch of bitterness at the finish.
This is the classic style, sweet and strong, but the alcohol doesn't dominate. One of the better domestic Maibocks I've tasted. From the 32 oz growler purchased at the brewpub.
