Located in a former fine family dining restaurant. Old, rustic, lots of dark wood and a fireplace. Very cozy. The bar itself is small, but there are tables scattered about. I've always had friendly service and the beers run the gamut in terms of style and taste. One of three (currently) breweries in this little town.

I visited this brewery taproom for beer while in Dayton on a business trip in early 2025. The pub was warm and snug on a cold Ohio night. It was located in the compact, historic, riverside town of Miamisburg, OH. From the outside, I got the impression it was a historic old roadside tavern, and that was only reinforced when I saw the main pub room with its massive wooden bar and even more impressive, ancient ceiling beams and rafters. You could just imagine what it was like to step off your stagecoach hundreds of years ago in what was then a frontier town in the woods, and have a nice beer in this room. Luckily, you can still get a good beer here. They were serving about 20 of their own beers and seltzers on tap, representing styles from across the beer spectrum. I tried a couple of the beers and found them fresh and well-made. There was no food available, but they allow outside food to be brought in.
I enjoyed this historic tavern and its beer.

A nice spot, with really nice bartenders and decent beers. It's close to Dayton, but a little far out if you aren't a local. They have a lot of different styles on tap, maybe too many. I'd love to see them settle in on a few styles. It's worth a trip if you are in the area. The new Dayton brewery trail should help a place like this out a lot.
