The Buoy Pale Ale mixes subtle sweet notes of Pale, Crystal, and Munich malts followed by a wave of floral and citrus flavors generated from Oregon grown hops. Beers up!

7-8-2020 don't remember too much about this beer or where I had it. From my rating I would say it is nothing special almost under whelming. Just an average Pale Ale like most of the others. Rated 8-5-2023 38 IBUs

Look: Clear, rich orange with a billowing pure white head that settles leaving good lacing
Aroma: Light tropical fruit joins an orange-led citrus hit while sweet bready and biscuit-like malt intermingle
Taste: Citrus notes start things off before being joined by a nice harmonious blend of malt sweetness, tropical fruit notes, and warm bread. Some citrus rind and fruity esters lead to a nice, smooth finish
Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation, soft and a little slick but not oily, low to medium dryness on the finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a tasty and solid American Pale Ale from a brewery I enjoy and will be a nice addition to this weekend’s libations. Not a crazy standout but not at all flawed – just a simple and delicious beer that I’m happy to have purchased

At the Crosscut Taproom in Castle Rock WA. A solid PA, slightly hazy, muted nose and light head. Dry taste, solid hop profile with malt backbone behind the bitterness. Good, well crafted a bit short of being top tier.

Pours a nice deep gold and two fingers of off white head. Aroma is a lite sweet bread and a little orange. Tastes of citrus and lite malts ( malt body is a bit mild for me) with a mild creamy feel. This is a nice pale, won't nock you on your feet, but satisfys my pale need.

Had it at the brewery itself on my trip to Oregon last week. Light orange color pour with little to head. It looked hazy in the pint glass but not overly clouded.
It has a nice, hoppy aroma that is inviting.
Loved its malts to hops balance. Not too dry and just the right amount of bitterness.
