Scotty Lite is inspired by the classic pub beers of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Formally known as a “60 Schilling” ale this antiquated model of naming has since been phased out. The Scottish Light ale is a malt accentuated beer with the end goal being total balance. A touch of roasted barley is used for color and mild flavor development, without adding any roasty flavor. Imported brown and crystal malts give add to this beer’s unique malt flavor while the low alcohol and tempered use of Willamette hops help keep the beer smooth and drinkable. Sláinte!
